Jereme Baker, Attorney at Law & Managing CEO
Jereme Baker, an expert attorney in Denver CO, exemplifies his passion for helping others with his legal experience. Jereme earned his J.D. Degree from the University of Colorado. He gained valuable federal court experience when he externed for Chief Judge Wiley Daniel at the U.S. District Court, District of Colorado.
Jereme also volunteered as legal counsel for the Flatirons Habitat for Humanity. After law school, Jereme clerked for the Boulder County Housing Authority, Department of Health and Human Services. After successfully completing the bar exam, Jereme soon gained significant trial experience when he served as a Deputy District Attorney with the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office.
Jereme is active in a number of organizations including the Sam Cary Bar Association, and the Trust and Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association. He also volunteers at Manual High School as an assistant football coach, and tutors elementary age kids. Jereme firmly believes in treating every client with patience, respect and integrity.
Jereme has two young boys. He loves taking them camping, hiking, and fishing and watching them grow up.

Brian Petz, Associate Attorney
Brian Petz, an attorney in the Denver metro area and surrounding communities, is passionate about helping families and their loved ones through what can be very emotional and trying experiences.
Originally from Clearwater, Florida, Brian earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Philosophy from Florida State University (2012). Brian earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Colorado, graduating in the top third of his class, and was admitted to the practice of law in Colorado in 2015.
While earning his Juris Doctor, Brian focused on business law, taxation, Wills, Trusts, and Estates, in addition to working as a research assistant in the area of privacy and technology.
Brian joined the Baker Law Group in 2014 as a law clerk and is now an associate at the firm. He is a member of the Colorado, Arapahoe, and Adams County Bar Associations, and an active member of the Elder Law and Trust & Probate Sections of the Colorado Bar Association. During his spare time, Brian enjoys hiking, climbing, and playing hockey.
Daniel Leppert, Associate Attorney
Daniel is an attorney in the Denver metro area with experience in a wide range of legal disciplines including personal injury, real estate, transactional and energy law. He is passionate about helping clients with problems both big and small.
Daniel earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University in 2005 and his Juris Doctor from Notre Dame Law School in 2008. After working as a personal injury attorney for a number of years, Daniel shifted his focus and obtained a Masters of Law (LL.M.) from the University of Denver in Environmental and Natural Resources Law in 2013. Since then, Daniel has focused primarily on real estate, energy and transactional law.
Daniel joined the Baker Law Group in 2018 as an associate. He is licensed to practice law in both Colorado and Georgia and is a member of the Colorado and Aurora Bar Associations and of the Real Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association. He lives in Aurora with his wife and two sons and he enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, and, occasionally, returning to the east coast where he grew up for some beach time and salt water fishing.
Jacqueline Llinas, Associate Attorney
Jacqueline Llinas is an attorney in the Denver metro area who has a diverse background with matters involving business, real estate, energy and the environment. She has experience handling state administrative proceedings and federal appellate litigation but currently focuses her practice on transactional work.
Jacqueline earned her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in May 2018 and was admitted to practice law in Colorado in November 2018. In addition to her J.D., Jacqueline has a Certificate of Specialization in Environmental and Natural Resources Law. Prior to attending law school, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in May 2015 from the University of Oklahoma with a double major in Political Science and Interdisciplinary Perspectives on the Environment.
Jacqueline joined the Baker Law Group in May 2019 after working in-house for a mid-sized solar development company. She joined the firm to focus on and expand her practice in real estate and business matters. She aspires to one day use her expertise in these areas to play a role in expanding renewable energy development across the country. Jacqueline is currently a member of the Colorado Bar Association – Young Lawyers Division, the Boulder Bar Association, and the Denver Bar Association. She is also an Advisory Board Member of the Institute for Energy Law.
Originally from Houston, Texas, Jacqueline is an outdoor enthusiast who spends her summers outside and exploring the Rocky Mountains. Year-round, she enjoys spending time with her close friends. As an avid Sooner and Texans fan, Jacqueline is most excited for football season.
Christopher M. Adams, Law Clerk
Originally from Southern California, Chris earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver in 2010, majoring in History and Art History, and obtained his Juris Doctor from New England Law Boston in 2015. While earning his JD, Chris focused on criminal law, governmental law and Wills, Trusts, and Estates.
While at New England Law Boston, Chris was Vice President of the school’s Federal Bar Association, and worked with the Massachusetts Inspector General’s Office, Middlesex District Attorney’s Office and Colorado’s 19th Judicial District as a student attorney. In addition to working in the governmental sector he was able to work with the Law Office of Julie Latimer assisting in Wills, Trusts, and Estate Planning in Massachusetts. He also coached the Commonwealth Current, a USA Swimming Team.
Chris joined Baker Law Group in March of 2018 when he moved back to Denver. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and Federal Bar Association. Chris has a passion for coaching and is a swim coach for the Colorado STARS and a collegiate water polo referee. Chris also enjoys hiking, skiing, mountain biking, watching movies, and reading.
Emily M. Woodhull, Paralegal
Emily is an experienced legal assistant dedicated to serving each client with care as they navigate their legal matter. She grew up in Minnesota and graduated from Bethel University, St. Paul, majoring in English Literature and Writing and English Education. After several years as a secondary English teacher, she made the transition to the legal field, which she found to be an excellent fit. Since then, she has worked as a legal assistant for Kennedy & Kennedy Law Office and Lanners & Olson, P.A. in Minnesota where she gained experience in a number of legal areas before moving to Colorado and joining Baker Law Group. She enjoys the variety of people and work that she encounters in this position.
Outside of the office, Emily spends her time exploring the outdoors, hiking, camping, running, reading, walking her dog, and completing freelance writing and editing projects.
Erin Long, Law Clerk
Erin is a candidate for the Colorado State Bar, and joined Baker Law Group in 2019 as a law clerk. She primarily focuses on business transactional and probate matters, as she enjoys the wide variety of experiences that both practice areas offer.
Erin earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh in 2016, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2019. Erin has been a law clerk for several multinational corporations, including TTEC, Inc. and Newmont Goldcorp, and has achieved a Certificate in Corporate and Commercial Law. She also represented the University of Denver to a regional championship and national qualification in the Representation in Mediation competition.
Outside of the legal world, Erin is an avid musician and horseback rider. She is a member of the Highlands Ranch Concert Band, and President of Cowboy Dressage World of Colorado. In her free time, Erin also enjoys skiing, reading, and costume design.
Jessica B. Stuart, Paralegal
Jessica is an experienced legal assistant with a passion for the law and helping others. She grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Mercer County Community College where she majored in paralegal studies. From there she went on to graduate from Fairleigh Dickinson University where she majored in business technology.
Her background is largely insurance defense. She started her career as a legal assistant for a law firm that was outside counsel to major insurance companies and corporations. She then went on to work as a paralegal for GEICO insurance’s in-house defense department and eventually became a property damage claims adjuster. Her defense background includes premise liability, tort claims, DEC actions, dram shop suits, automobile defense and wrongful death suits. She also worked as a legal assistant at a Philadelphia law firm that exclusively handled consumer bankruptcy.
Jessica moved to Colorado in June of 2019 and joined Baker Law Group in July. She truly enjoys the people at the firm and the matters she works on. Outside of the office, she has an amazing teenage son and she enjoys exploring Colorado, spending time with friends, photography, traveling and writing.
